ABOUT ME: I started playing drums when i was 10 years young in my schools concert band. I kept playing through high school with no private lessons and joined the marching band and drumline. It was there where i developed most of my chops. While in school, i met a lot of other musicians and jammed with many amatuer bands. It seemed like, to me, all the bands and guitar/ bass players i wanted to play with were older and i was always the youngest.
After high school, i decided not to go to college because the only school i wanted to go to was MI (Musicians Institute) and it was outrageously expensive. I then just started gigging around orange county and playing with alot of other bands/musicians for about 3 years until i heard about an audition with the Dirty Heads. I was stoked because i first heard of them about 6 months prior just from word of mouth and instantly loved the music. I auditioned at Bomb Shelter in Garden Grove at around March of 07'. About 2 -3 weeks later, I started rehearsing and recording with them. Since then, 311, Japan.... yea its been a pretty good year and now im psyched for the release of "Any Port in a Storm" and looking forward to the future of Dirty Heads!
